Bladon specialise in the acquisition and development of property for the licensed, leisure and roadside development sectors. The company also advises clients on disposals, rent reviews and lease renewals.

The company is retained by Everards Brewery Limited of Leicester to support its highly successful Project William programme of opening pubs with microbrewers and cask ale specialists. We have acquired closed and underperforming pubs throughout the midlands and Yorkshire and have already acquired pubs working with microwbrewers such as Ashover Brewery, Brampton Brewery, Ironbridge Brewery, Ossett Brewery and with the original partners, Titanic Brewery, who already have 3 pubs operating under the scheme. We have a large number of requirements for further expansion with existing and future partners. Despite the much publicised problems of the pub market, high quality specialist cask ale businesses continue to thrive in well invested pubs geared to their local market.

We also act for the Cobra Leisure Group, who specialise in late night bars and nightclubs, and have recently secured the former Versa Bar in Bristol which has been successfully refurbished and reopened as the Bunker nightclub. Bladon have also supported their associated company, the Le Monde Group, in the acquisition of high quality food and drink operations, including the West Bank in Hereford.

The company is also acting on behalf of other listed and privately owned pub companies with requirements for freehold and leasehold managed pubs and sites for new development.

In the wider leisure sector, Bladon also act for the Arena Group (UK) Limited, who through their ownership of the Planet Ice brand, are he UK’s leading operator of ice arenas, and are seeking to expand their portfolio. The company’s clients also include Buckingham Bingo, a well established regional operator based in the north west of England.

The company is also active in the roadside development sector, where clients include the Midland Cooperative Society.
